food labelling

South Africa has recently adopted a new regulation on food labelling, Regulation 146 as part of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act (Act 54 of 1972). The details of this legislation has meant that the process of Food Labelling has come under scrutiny, placing pressure on companies to comply with the latest regulation, therefore the Institute for International Research (IIR) presents Food Labelling 2010.

The legislation has a tremendous impact on the way that the Food and Beverage Industry inform their customers of their products, affecting how companies produce and market their brands. The new legislation means that companies have to comply with the latest legislative requirements, or potentially face huge penalties and the possibility of the recall of products. This event has been designed with the aim of helping companies understand the legislation, providing them with EVERYTHING they need to know with regards to the legislation, enabling you and your company to effectively comply with the regulations governing food labelling.

Leading food labelling experts will share their knowledge on food labelling, facilitating you to make an enlightened decision on the best way to label your brand. This event is unique in that it will provide you and your company with a comprehensive overview of the food labelling regulations. Practical solutions and strategies will be shared on labelling on your brand, as well as everything you need to know about effectively marketing your brand to the right target market and complying with the legal requirements.  It is therefore vital for you and your company's brand success that you attend this conference.
